To activate your account, enter your assigned Student/Employee ID Number (also known as EMPLID or MaineStreet ID) and your activation key. Then click Continue to set your password and identification questions.
During activation, you'll be asked to provide:
Your assigned Student/Employee Identification Number
Also known as EMPLID or MaineStreet ID
An activation key
A password of your choice
Three identification questions and answers for future identity verification
(Optional) An external email address and/or phone number for account recovery
New passwords must:
Be at least 8 characters long
Include uppercase and lowercase letters
Include numbers and/or special characters
NOT be based on your username, personal name, or other personal information
NOT be a standalone word in any language, slang, dialect, or jargon
